Modo Yoga: Is it a fit for you?

I have to admit that there is much I admire about the dozens of different “styles” or “types” of yoga that work for the strength and toning of different areas of the body, various types of relaxation or meditation, and much, much more.  Now, I have taken a look into Modo Yoga, an international community of hot yoga studios, united in the dedication to create a more sustainable world. All yoga students of all levels, from beginner to master are welcome in Modo Yoga studios, a place for all.

Modo yoga is a form of hot yoga that includes a unique yoga series combining the precision of therapeutic yoga and the foundations of traditional yoga in a specially heated room. The series is a cardiovascular workout that strengthens, tones and loosens the muscles, while calming the mind and reducing stress.

The benefits of Modo Yoga, this form of a hot yoga practice are widespread. Many students tell stories about the incredible ways that yoga is able to transform their overall health and wellness, while there are also many other benefits. Some of these may include access to detoxifying the tissues of your body, build strength, flexibility, tone, improved breathing and mental focus, and develop a greater ability to slip into relaxation mode!

You may also benefit from knowing how to prepare for a class. Most importantly, you should bring water, a yoga mat, comfortable clothing, and a good attitude. All of these important items will help keep you comfortable throughout the class, while also getting a solid workout. There is no reason to walk in waring or carrying the latest yoga gear, but you will want to wear clothing that isn’t going to weigh you down, get in the way or make you feel restricted. Water is essential because you are likely to be sweating a lot – especially if you try a hot yoga class. Make sure you bring enough to keep you hydrated throughout the class and don’t wait for water break cues from your teacher. Drink when you need to.

Now, many instructors say that a good attitude is the most important thing to bring with you. This is most important when you are trying Modo Yoga for the first time, and you should not be hard on yourself at all for your first few classes. Yoga takes a lot of practice to master and even the most trained yogis are learning each time they practice.
